Captain James Dolan grew up in Hollywood, Florida, spending countless days fishing alongside his father, Ed Dolan, and close friends. By age 15, he developed a deep passion for saltwater fishing, especially flats fishing.

At 20, James answered a greater call and joined the Army, deploying to Iraq (2004–2005) and Afghanistan (2005–2006). He continues to serve his country to this day. In 2025, he earned his Captain’s License, turning his lifelong love of fishing into a professional charter service.

James is also the President of Operation Send It, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders through fishing adventures. Above all, he’s a proud father and a true advocate for giving back to the community and improving the quality of life for others
